Merwin Hulbert

Merwin Hulbert (also known as Merwin, Hulbert & Co.) produced fine revolvers and rifles from 1876 to 1916. These firearms influenced the design and development of the United States gunmaking industry. The company created both single and double action revolvers and their contributions to the industry included a 90-degree rotating barrel which allowed the barrel and cylinder to come forward so used cartridges could be easily removed.
